When ever my dog jumps up on the seat next to me, I turn and ask if she wants to sit on my lap by patting my thigh. She either a) jumps up on my lap and gets comfy or b) basically falls to her stomach on the chair and looks away so I won’t try and move her because apparently my lap is not worthy of such a puppy
